8.35                    Departure of HC pupils to AGQ (Hotel Emmen parking lot)

10.00                   Arrival at ACQ and welcome by the pupils and management

10.20                  Lesson

11.30                   Welcome by the town mayor (ACQ & HCE pupils) and short guided tour                                                                                                                                                                

12.45                    Lunch break at AC cafeteria     

13.30                  Group meeting - Introduction to the House of Commons debates

14.30                  Visit to Freizeit- und Integration-Zentrum -playing indoor games

16.30                    Meeting the host families and spending time together

                            (no organised program)

Tuesday 12th May – Osnabrück

7.40                     Lesson

8.30 – 8.50          Group meeting

9.20                      Departure by train to Osnabrück

10.15                   By bus to the planetarium

11.15                   Program at the planetarium (-12.00)

12.30                     Free time (incl. time for lunch)

14.30                     Guided tour through the historical city centre (3 groups)

16.00                     Barbecue in Osnabrück

18.00                     Visit to Osnabrück music festival

20.40                   Bahnhof Hasetor: back to Quakenbrück by train (arrival 21.40)

Wednesday 13th May- Quakenbrück + Emmen

8.15                      Neuer Markt :Transfer by bus to Emmen

9.45                      Arrival at HCE

9.55                      Welcome at HCE (in school hall)

10.15                     Lesson (pupil takes partner to his / her V-4 lesson)

11.05                     Break

11.20                     Tour of the school (Es, Brink, Marke- no longer than 20 min!)

11.40                      Preparations for the House of Commons Debate (M202 / M215)

13.00                     Lunch break

13.30 – 15.30        Volleyball tournament

15.30 – 17.45        Free time

17.45 -18.15          Meet at the entrance to the Emmen Zoo (taste of Emmen tour)

18.15                     Pizza at the restaurant Sardenga (address: 124 Hoofdstraat Emmen)

20.00 – 21.30        Playing pool at the Pool en Snooker Centrum Emmen

                                 (address: Willinkplein 33, Emmen)

Thursday 14th May- Otterloo -Arnhem- Cultural Excursion

8.15                                              Departure from the Hotel Emmen parking lot  

Exact times           Visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterloo will be (for preparatory

                               information please visit www.kmm..nl) given on the day!

                               Lunch break and free time (if possible)

                               Visit to the Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem

19.00                     Arrival at HC Emmen

There will be no evening program, allowing time for visiting with the host families. 

Friday 15th May- Emmen

9.25                         Lesson (pupil takes partner to his / her V-4 lesson)

10.15                       Preparations for the House of Commons debates (M208)

11.05 – 11.20          Break

11.20                       Swimming at the Aquarena swimming pool incl. Lunch break

13.30 -16.00            House of Commons debates and Prize Giving Ceremony

16.00                       Departure of the AGQ pupils (from parking lot Hotel Emmen)

17.30                       Arrival of AGQ students in Quakenbrück.
